Rather than focusing on getting youth into employment, there is a need to get all unemployed age groups into employment. How are you going to "deliver 1,700 job"? What are they? How will you ensure that the unemployed will be able to match the skills required? How are you going to ensure that employees are more realistic about their vacancy requirements? How are you going to overcome the stupidity that exists in DWP related training funding - not all of us need the standard, generic courses? What are you going to do about ensuring that people can get to work "out of transport hours"? What are you actually going to do about introducing sustainable industry to the area? What are you going to do to implement fully-factored urban regeneration that doesn't waste brownfield sites on ill-conceived housing developments? How are you going to restructure qualifications to ensure that the meet industry AND employee needs, e.g. employees not only gain knowledge and experience that is required by industry but they inform them about their employment rights etc. What are you going to do about stopping employers enforcing illegal working conditions on potential employees, e.g. the provision of PPE? I'll leave it there!!

We are a poor relation to Birmingham and the South of the West Midlands. Until we have a West Midlands Mayor who through the Combined Authority is prepared to support Wolverhampton we stand no chance. HS2 will also have a detrimental effect on Wolverhampton, it basically removes us from the Inter City map of the U.K., and it will increase the time it takes to travel from the City to other major U.K. areas, another example of Wolverhampton being the poor relation of Birmingham.

Older people, with low or little income will need financial help with digital equipment and skills to maximise usage.
